Breakout Creator
From the Zuda blog:
Congratulations are in order for our very own David Gallaher on being named as one of the Eight "Breakout Creators" of 2008, according to Comic Foundry Magazine! It's true! Gallaher is just probably too shy to go around crowing about it on his own.
Check it out here!
The issue goes on sale April 2nd!

HIGH MOON: Around the Web
What are other bloggers saying about HIGH MOON?
Art Patient - What Did I Learn?
High Moon is a very popular comic on the new Zudacomics.com site. It combines many stories elements I enjoy, such as Westerns and Mysteries. There are also strong characters to go with a solidly building story.
Beer and Comics
I’m continually impressed with High Moon. I love the art, its well done, yet gritty and incredibly well fitting for the story line. We are beginning to see some character depth as well, along with some interesting plot twists.

[HIGH MOON is] "absolutely worth checking out"

HIGH MOON: URLs and blog stuff
Did you know?
There are direct urls you can use to connect your favorite werewolf western webcomic:
http://www.zudacomics.com/node/109
http://www.zuda.com/high_moon
http://www.highmooncomic.com
And to access this production blog, you can follow either of these two urls:
http://high-moon.blogspot.com/
http://www.thehighmoonrises.com
On the blog front, in the next few days, I'll be combining all the process stuff under one tag, called 'process' which you can use to directly access all of our production notes. I'm also playing around with the color scheme. Steve and I will be adding other news and notes over the next few days ... and maybe we can even get Scott to do a lettering article.

HIGH MOON: A Little Monkshood In The Night
What you are looking at is a sprig of Monkshood, which is also known to some as wolvesbane. In tiny, very low doses, Monkshood is thought to treat nerve pain and rheumatism. With sedative properties, Monkshood has been used as a homeopathic remdey for cold and flu symptoms, heart palpitations, and anxiety.
Monkshood is also quite lethal to normal human beings ... so don't go eating it!
Werewolves typically don't like it much either ...

HIGH MOON: The Process Diary Interview
Over the weekend, I was interviewed by Paul Caggegi from The Process Diary, who had this to say about our series:
"[High Moon] reminds me of the work of Sam Keith - the legend behind titles such as The Maxx. Yet it retains a vibrant life that is all its own. Every panel and every page is an artwork."
You can hop over to the site to read more and listen to the podcast interview, right here!
